June Recital – featuring Schubert’s much-loved Song Cycle – Die Schone Mullerin
Kyle Guglielmo, Bass-Baritone and John Laing, Piano I am looking forward to this three recital event mounted with lyric baritone and actor Kyle Guglielmo as we step into the early Romantic world of Franz Schubert (1797-1828) in Die schöne Müllerin. The work was published in 1824 under the title Die Schöne Müllerin, which means, “The Lovely Maid of the Mill”, a song cycle to poems by Wilhelm Müller, dedicated to Carl von Schönstein. 3 dates/locations to choose from! |
